Go Explore Local – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Go Explore Local. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Go Explore Local platform (“Platform”), which includes our website, mobile app, social media channels, and any related products or services.

By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Overview

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Cody Media, LLC (dba Go Explore Local) (“Go Explore Local”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They apply whether you access the Platform via computer, mobile device, tablet, or any other means.

If you live in Canada, supplemental terms may apply. See the bottom of this page for country-specific variations.

2. Use of the Platform

  • Be of legal age in your jurisdiction (or have parental/guardian consent)
  • Register with accurate and current information
  • Keep your account secure and notify us immediately of unauthorized use

You are responsible for anything that happens under your account, whether or not authorized by you.

3. Membership & Billing

When you subscribe to a Partner’s membership through Go Explore Local, you authorize us to charge your card based on the plan you selected.

Membership Billing Options:

  • Monthly: Billed every 30 days
  • Quarterly: Billed every 90 days
  • Annually: Billed every 365 days
  • One-Time: Billed once at checkout, with no renewal
  • Prepaid Plans (e.g., 6 or 12 months): Billed upfront and automatically renew at the same interval unless canceled in advance

All recurring charges will be billed automatically unless you cancel prior to your renewal date. Shipping and taxes may apply based on your location.

Cancel Anytime: Cancel through your billing portal or by emailing us at hello@goexplorelocal.com. You are responsible for any charges processed before cancellation.

Refunds: All sales are final. Prepaid plans may be refunded within 15 days of purchase; after that, no refunds or exchanges will be granted.

4. Description of Service

Go Explore Local provides access to exclusive offers, promotions, and experiences from our Partner businesses. We do not fulfill the services or products directly. Offers are subject to change and availability.

The Platform is provided “AS IS,” and Go Explore Local may modify or discontinue features at any time without notice.

5. Participation with Third Parties

Many offers and memberships are fulfilled by third-party businesses. When you engage with those offers, you may be subject to the third party’s terms, privacy policies, and restrictions. Go Explore Local is not liable for issues arising from those external services.

6. Sales Tax

Sales tax is applied where required by law. Your total will include applicable taxes based on your location at checkout.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform (text, logos, graphics, video, etc.) is owned by or licensed to Go Explore Local and protected under copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without permission. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license for personal use only.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

We make no guarantees about the availability or accuracy of the Platform. Go Explore Local is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions may not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Platform or via email. Continued use after updates means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA.
